Wider aspects of company direction (Study Guide 19)

Author in 1975 of topic that was initially presented as a correspondence subject for the "Chartered Directors Diploma" awarded by The Australian Company Directors Association.  This was the first educational course in the world to provide company directors with an educational qualification.  This was at time before before the term "Corporate Governance" was coined by Professor Bob Tricker who became an examiner for my PhD.  I presented the Topic with regular revisions as a unit in a residential course of the University of New England from 1981 to 1993.  During this period the course was presented by 14 other Universities around Australia and by the Australian Institute of Company Directors on its formation in 1990.

1975 Brochure presenting first course for company directors

My proposal for the course was published in 'Federal Control and Trained Directors' a Letter to the Editor of the Australian Financial Review of June 23, 1971. It took a couple of years for the various authors pictured in the brochure to write the various course topics.
